Constitutional Awareness Program

“The US Constitution doesn’t guarantee happiness, only the pursuit of it. You have to catch up with it yourself.” ~ Benjamin Franklin
There’s a couple of common misconceptions regarding our Constitution that I keep running into as I navigate my plotted course through the internet. They are such common problems with some people, I am dedicating a blog post to clearing it up once and for all. Be advised, I can lay it out here, but no matter how hard I try, I cannot understand this stuff for you.
.
Let’s start with some basic facts
.
The First Amendment to the UNITED STATES Constitution prohibits the making of any law respecting an establishment of religion, impeding the free exercise of religion, abridging the freedom of speech, infringing on the freedom of the press, interfering with the right to peaceably assemble or prohibiting the petitioning for a governmental redress of grievances. It was adopted on December 15, 1791, as one of the ten amendments that constitute the Bill of Rights. Here’s the actual text “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”
 .
I think that’s pretty clear, obviously others do not. So I guess it’s a good job I’m gonna take some time to do some ‘splainin for them. Many times when I execute, ummm, ‘offensive countermeasures’ against a target I am accused by info-hipsters of violating that targets ‘1st Amendment’ rights to freedom of expression, or speech.
.
This is an impossibility.
.
You see, the 1st Amendment was written and designed to prevent the government (ie unapplicable to private citizens) from infringing on the freedoms of speech and expression of individual citizens and/or groups of citizens. As a private citizen (ie not the government) it’s wholly impossible for me to violate anothers’ 1st Amendment rights. My ‘offensive countermeasures’ are as much my freedom of expression as whatever it is the target did to invoke my response. To say otherwise negates their original argument. In essence as an individual I am free to call another individual out all day long, without any violation of his freedoms provided by the Bill of Rights. Awesome isn’t it? In fact during the writing of this post, what I am talking about right here, just happened. Moreover, my targets (Westboro Baptist Church notwithstanding) have been for the most part non-US entities, who are not even protected by the Bill of Rights. Which segways me nicely into my 2nd and more pressing concern…. (Oh and for those bitching about my alleged violations of the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, I’ve put a video especially for you at the end of this blog post.)
.
It’s ‘WE THE PEOPLE’, not ‘THEM THE PEOPLE’
.
As the great Shep Smith would say, ‘lets get to it’. We all know those that would do us harm are using the internet, particularly the big Social Media sites like Twitter, Facebook, WordPress etc to spread their message, recruit and radicalize potential jihadists. These are all US companies based on US soil. The enemy is using them against us everyday. Here’s the deal, while some of these companies do make *some* efforts to curb the onslaught, on many occasions they claim that to remove a user or a users content would be a violation of said users ‘freedom of speech’.
.
Hold up, while I flip some goddamn tables!
 .
What the actual fuck? So now, some dirtbag jihadi non-US citizen sitting on a dialup connection in a university campus just south of  Al Raqqa, Syria is protected by OUR freaking constitution? It’s like these bastards are rolling up OUR Constitution that we as a new nation fought for and our Military personnel defend daily, and sliding it up our puckered asses. AND WE ARE LETTING THEM. I’m pretty sure the Founding Fathers never intended the enemy to benefit and be protected by OUR Bill of Rights. That’s what the Geneva Convention is for. Which incidentally, they choose to totally disregard, in terms of International Law.
.
I guess my question is why are we affording foreigners, correction enemy combatants the protections and freedoms available to US citizens? Build your own constitution, dipshits.
.
And what about the average domestic dickhead?
.

It’s not just foreigners and enemy combatants abusing the whole ‘freedom of speech’ thing. There’s plenty of nasty little little shits right here at home using the 1st Amendment as a defense for spewing pure evil vomit over anyone who’ll listen. For example there’s a US citizen who runs at least TWO blogs completely dedicated to laughing at and mocking injured service personnel. He’s literally mocking the very people that fought and died defending his ‘right to mock them’. Is this ‘hate speech’ against America? Maybe? He clearly has a lot of hate in there, but by the protections of the 1st Amendment he apparently has every right to do this, equally anyone, whom he offends also has the right to respond however they see fit (within the law *wink*).

The 1st Amendment does not insulate anyone from other people calling another out as an asshole, all day long. Here’s one of the many examples of assholes using the 1st Amendment to attack me. This guy (he’s over 50 years old btw) decided to use his ‘FREE SPEECH’ to repeatedly spread complete lies about me. I used my ‘FREE SPEECH’ (and superior intelligence) to exert a certain amount of pressure on him to retract his bullshit publicly, and on camera, which he did right here. I then went on to show how in fact, it was he himself who was the sex offender with this, freely available from the Minnesota State public court records. I guess he didn’t think it through. See how that shit works?

.

To sum up in a nutshell

The Right to Free Speech means the Government can’t arrest you for what you say. It doesn’t mean everyone else has to listen to your bullshit or host your bullshit for you on the internet. The 1st amendment doesn’t shield you from criticism OR consequences. If you are yelled at, boycotted, doxed, Dos’d, Tango Downed, or banned from an internet community your Free Speech Rights are not being violated. It’s just that most of the people listening to you think you’re a dick. And you probably are.

This post, like all previous posts and those yet to come was made possible by the 1st Amendment and represents MY freedom of speech and expression. No trolls where harmed during the production of this post (yet).
